Ahmedabad: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi was sentenced to two years in a criminal defamation case and the matter of losing his Lok Sabha membership had not even cooled down that now Tejashwi Yadav’s difficulties seem to be increasing. A petition has been filed against Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav in the Metro Court of Ahmedabad, Gujarat. In the petition, strictest action has been demanded against Tejashwi Yadav. The hearing in this matter will be held on May 1.
What did Tejashwi Yadav say
Tell that Tejashwi Yadav was constantly attacking the central government and the BJP after the CBI raids in the land-for-job scam. Meanwhile, the news of withdrawal of Red Cross notice came from Mehul Choksi. Speaking on the same subject in the assembly, Tejashwi Yadav had said, “There are two thugs…If we look at the condition of the country today, only Gujaratis can be thugs and they will be forgiven.”
Rahul Gandhi lost his Lok Sabha membership in a similar case
Let us tell you that during the Lok Sabha elections 2019, the then Congress President had made controversial remarks regarding ‘Modi surname’, after which BJP MLA Purnesh Modi filed a criminal defamation case. After which on March 23, a court in Surat convicted Rahul Gandhi and sentenced him to two years imprisonment. A day after this decision, he was disqualified from the membership of the Lok Sabha.
